Privacy Policy

This policy explains how information is handled when you use the NIRVO mobile game.

Effective: July 17, 2026Last updated: July 17, 2026

1. Overview

NIRVO is developed and published by Rick Mackay Web Application Services (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We aim to collect as little information as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, secure, and monetize the game.

This Privacy Policy applies to the NIRVO Android application, its related support pages, and services directly controlled by us. It does not replace the privacy terms of third-party platforms such as Google Play or Google AdMob.

2. Information we handle

The game does not require you to submit your name, home address, phone number, contacts, photographs, microphone recordings, or precise GPS location for its core gameplay.

Depending on the production version and enabled services, the following categories may be processed:

  • Gameplay and settings data: unlocked levels, completed levels, scores, stars, rescued Nivi, virtual currency balances, inventory, selected boosters, audio preferences, haptic preferences, and first-launch story status.
  • Device and technical data: device type, operating system version, app version, language, crash or diagnostic information, network information, and performance data when collected by an enabled platform service.
  • Advertising data: advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, ad interactions, and similar data when Google AdMob is enabled.
  • Purchase data: product identifier, purchase status, transaction token, and entitlement information for purchases processed through Google Play Billing. We do not receive your complete card or banking details.
  • Support communications: information you voluntarily send when contacting us, such as your email address, message, screenshots, or device details included in your request.

3. Local game data

NIRVO is designed to store core game progress locally on your device. This may include Worldpath progress, level records, Nova Points, inventory, discovered Nivi, settings, and story completion status.

Local data normally remains on the device until you clear the app’s storage or uninstall the game. Device backups or platform-level restoration may be controlled by your operating system or Google account settings.

4. In-app purchases

NIRVO may offer optional virtual items or Nova Point packages. Purchases on Android are intended to be processed by Google Play Billing. Google handles the payment method and may provide us with transaction and entitlement data needed to confirm and deliver the purchased virtual content.

Virtual items have no cash value outside the game and are subject to the purchase terms shown in the app and the applicable Google Play terms.

5. Advertising and Google AdMob

NIRVO may display advertisements using Google AdMob in a future or current production release. When advertising is enabled, the Google Mobile Ads SDK and participating advertising partners may collect or receive device identifiers, IP address, app interactions, ad impressions, diagnostics, and other data used to deliver, measure, limit, secure, and—where permitted—personalize advertisements.

The exact ads and data use can depend on your region, age treatment, consent choices, device settings, and the advertising configuration used in the released version. We will configure advertising to follow applicable Google Play and AdMob requirements.

You can learn more through Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s advertising technologies information.

7. Third-party services

The released game may use third-party services required for distribution, payments, advertising, diagnostics, security, or consent management. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Google PlayApp distribution, updates, licensing, purchases, and platform services
Google Play BillingProcessing and verification of optional in-app purchases
Google AdMobAdvertising delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and consent-related processing when enabled
Google User Messaging PlatformPrivacy choices and consent messaging when required and enabled

Not every service listed above is necessarily active in every app version. The Google Play Data safety declaration should be read together with this policy and should reflect the SDKs included in the version you install.

8. Children’s privacy

NIRVO does not ask players to create a public profile or directly submit their name, address, telephone number, contacts, photographs, or precise location for ordinary gameplay. We do not knowingly use the game to solicit direct personal information from children.

If a released version is offered to children or mixed-age audiences, advertising requests and consent experiences will be configured according to the selected Google Play target audience and applicable child-protection requirements. A parent or guardian may contact us regarding a child’s privacy concern.

9. Data retention and security

Local game data remains on the device as described above. Support communications are retained only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain records, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations. Third-party providers determine their own retention periods.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Your rights and controls

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or information about certain personal data. Because most game progress is stored locally, you can ordinarily remove it by clearing NIRVO’s app storage or uninstalling the game.

For support messages or information directly controlled by us, submit a request using the contact information below. We may need to verify the request before acting on it. Advertising and purchase information controlled by Google should also be managed through your Google account, device settings, or Google’s privacy tools.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the game, its SDKs, monetization features, legal requirements, or data practices change. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Material changes may also be communicated inside the game or through its store listing when appropriate.
